Asian elephant

Again more animal and nature photos. I couldn't help it but I just love shooting nature photos. On it's best and on it's worst. This elephant I saw in one of the biggest Zoo's in Indonesia. There is some sort of sadness on her eyes.

I Saw this old catfish skull hanging on the wall. Wouldn't want those teeth touching me..

Orangutan

We went to see one of the biggest zoo in Indonesia. Everyone who has ever visited a zoo can tell that sometimes animals don't look so happy after all. One of the saddest things was to see this orang who just hoped to be set free to the wild where it belongs.

Vespa mandarinia

In year 2010 I was in Indonesia on Gili islands and saw these huge asian hornets (Vespa mandarinia) on a leaf. I've never seen wasps as big. Almost two inches long and said to be very poisonous and dangerous. I had to take photo to remember these human killing insects. In year 2013 atleast 42 people were killed and 1,675 injured by these monsters.

I saw this scared looking rabbit in the bush and then I realized that I was scared of a crow that was eating it's friend just a few meters away

In 2010 vulcano Merapi erupted and Over 350,000 people were evacuated from the affected area and 353 people were killed during the eruptions. My mother was really worried when we were going to Indonesia with a 1-year-old kid. Eruptions had just happened a little while before that. I promised my mom that we are going to be ok. I got a little worried when we actually had the chance to go to see the Merepi mountain with all it's destruction but we made it out safe.

The scene was just something unreal. Everything was burned and covered with ash. You can see the power of the explosion because all the trees had fallen the same direction.

After a long period of slacking I finally decided to start updating this blog again after years of slacking. Two first pictures. Here's Anssi Soininen pulling down some backside smith grind in Mikropolis Helsinki.

This is me. A young and passioned artist of life. Always scanning the surroudings for inspiration and new ideas. I love travelling and seeing new places because it is allways lovely to come back to your so called home and see the changes that have happened in your surrounding and especially in you.

This picture was taken in fall of 2005 in Lapland, Finland. It was very beautiful sunset and the view was just incredible.

This picture was taken in the summer of 2005. The only light was the light that came from the campfire and it was so hot that the sunflower eventually bended over the fire and burned.
